California Privacy Notice
Last updated: July 20, 2026 — Version 1.0
This notice is for California residents and supplements our Privacy Policy. It describes the categories of personal information we collect, how we use and share them, and the rights you have under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA).
1. Categories of personal information we collect
- Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, business name.
- Commercial information: records of services provided, appointment details, lead source.
- Communications content: call audio and transcripts, text and chat messages, email content.
- Internet activity: IP address, device and browser data, usage information collected via cookies (see our Cookie Policy).
- Payment data: billing details processed by our payment provider.
2. Sources and purpose
We collect personal information directly from you (if you are a client), from your end customers (the people who contact you through the Service), and automatically through your use of the website. We use it to operate the Service, process leads, process payments, comply with legal obligations, and improve the Service. We do not collect sensitive personal information in the CPRA sense unless you choose to provide it, and we do not collect or process the personal information of consumers under 16 with actual knowledge of their age.
3. We do not sell
We do not sell personal information, as defined by the CCPA, and we have not sold personal information in the past 12 months. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not sell or share, there is no "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link to operate. If that ever changes, we will add the required opt-out mechanism here.
4. Your rights
As a California resident, you have the right to:
- Know: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect about you.
- Delete: request deletion of personal information we collected from you.
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or share: not applicable, because we do not sell or share.
- Limit use of sensitive personal information: we do not use sensitive personal information for the purposes the CPRA restricts.
- Non-discrimination: we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
5. How to exercise your rights
Email us at legal@zeroheadache.co with your request. We verify your identity before responding. We respond to verified requests within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you within the first 45 days and explain why, up to an additional 45 days.
6. Automated decisionmaking technology
The Service uses automated processing to qualify leads and book appointments on behalf of our clients. If you are a California resident and want information about how ADMT is used in connection with your data, contact us at legal@zeroheadache.co.
7. Authorized agents
You may authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof of authorization and may verify the request directly with you.
8. Contact
